Think out of the box Yahoo/Verizon. I can no longer see my 'buddy list' - oh, wait, after sending an invite to someone, it magically appeared.

I still can't see anyone's online/offline status. I still can't view past conversations with this new interface. No option to remove a contact!!!

I am also unable to change the privacy setting, my display name, or block contacts - it says 'deadline exceeded.' I have myself added in my list of contacts and I see it is somehow using my real first and last names! I HAVE NEVER, IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, ENTERED MY FULL REAL NAME INTO ANY YAHOO SERVICE!!! IT HAS NEVER AND STILL DOES NOT APPEAR IN ANY OF THE SETTINGS!!! THIS IS A TOTAL BREACH OF PRIVACY!!! I went into the settings and changed it (from one NICKNAME to another before I upgraded the app) but my real name still somehow appears in the contacts list and messages! Absolutely unacceptable!

Love love love it!!! The look is perfect and app is easy to use without being elementary. (Using on Galaxy S8+.) Favorite feature is being able to delete/unsend messages and they ARE for BOTH sender and receiver unlike Whatsapp which doesn't delete on receiver's side; and pics dont have to be downloaded like in Whatsapp. Just wish Yahoo Messenger offered a way to save thread in another format, (Word, Excel - like per Text to SMS but also include pics). This app is definitely several steps above Whatsapp and KIK, which I have also tried.

Yahoo Messenger is absolutely the best! Loyal user here! Again, could only make more perfect by adding way to transfer thread or maybe even archive in Yahoo email. Thank you developer!
