Yeah I don't think we need to go ranting about HOTS per se. My problem is though that HOTS had the possibilities for an incredible story around Kerrigan. Free Download Program Blondie Parallel Lines Rapidshare Premium. Her path that she would take, the possibility of her trying to cling to her humanity, coming to terms with the incredible evil she had done as the QOB - while embracing her Zerg nature and trying to find her path forward, while advancing the various arcs. But Blizard just didn't seem up to the challange, not at all.

Starcraft Brood War Oblivion Download For Mac

Which is just damning because they had all the ingredients for a hell of a story to set up LOTV. My worry is that they will do a huge frackup of the Protoss, who have been only seen in glimpses in the last two games, and then only from Zeratuls POV. The best thing about Starcraft + BW I think was the story of the Protos. These enigmatic aliens in the Terran campaign who you only fight once, but clearly are advanced and ruthless in the way they burn everything. Kuladalli Keelyavudo Video Song Download here. Then slowly growing to understand them in the Zerg campaign, before really starting to see their society in the final campaign. Then the aftermath as whats left of their race flees to the Dark Templar and have to come to terms with their new status. I'm just depressed that they won't be able to give them anything like the justice they deserve.

I think we can all agree that Wings of Liberty was better than Heart of the Swarm, right? It's a question of where they try to focus with LotV. I'm a bit afraid.

LotV requires them to deal very closely with Amon and the hybrid, and that's much more in HotS' area, and it's fairly weak and boring in terms of plot. I also cannot help but recall that the protoss campaign was easily the worst one in Brood War. I would like to expect LotV to be very good, but I just don't know if Blizzard are able to do the protoss right. Click to expand.Well, at least the graphics will agree with the Protoss. The SC2 engine in my opinion is.

Nice; but its very shiny, clean and slick. Going back to SC1, the interfaces and graphics were gritty, dark and overall just have patented 90's feel of grime. The Terrans felt both futuristic, but also obviously making do with what they got, not too interested in looks and dealing with alien forces on hostile planets. Zerg also benefited from just the feel and look of the graphics that emphasized how weird and alien they were.

I mean, you (the Zerg commander) was basically a giant slug/water balloon that warbled its internal jelly when it talked. That was fucking weird and unworldly. It was perfect. The Protoss however felt like they just didn't fit per say as the art direction and graphics didn't allow too much for a highly advanced civilization with aesthetic designs. But with the SC2 engine, the overall look and art direction favors the nice, sleek and clean designs of the Protoss. There's that at least. They're nicer to look at/fit in better then in SC1.

I can run the game just fine on this computer, when the fucking company lets me download it. Hell, they still sell battle chests of the bloody game in stores. There is an inherent pact that requires digitial games to work, 'I give you money, you keep this thing functional and give me a service almost as effective as pirating it'. I've been trying to download the game for the last one and a half days. If they can't do something so simply as ensure their authorisations work, why the fuck should I keep giving them money?

Fuck, I can't even log onto the online mode of battle net. Click to expand. Not to mention the mission(s) where they were landing Korhal, her subordinates were telling her strategy would waste many Zerg lives and she's like 'fuck it, whatever, we got more.' It honestly reads like there were several writers for the game, but each one was made to work alone for each mission and they only had a single five line memo beforehand to nail down her character. One minute shes the genocidal bitch, the next a vulnerable victim of her higher ups, the next an outright Stalinistic leader of her Zerg as she pushed them into the Terran grinder, the next a fucking bleeding heart as she holds every Zerg life being some sort of scared thing.

I understand leaders are known to be a bit two faced, but what exactly was the point of a character who picked up and dropped traits like they're hot potatoes? Click to expand.I feel for you. My little brother had similar habits with my own Starcraft discs.

He was _very_ bad with computers when he was younger, doing stuff like using the CD tray as a cup holder, trying to jam the ethernet plug into a USB port when the internet went down, and spamming up the desktop with random files and such. Thank goodness we had decent anti-virus software installed and our internet wasn't fast enough back then to download much. And CDs ALL OVER THE PLACE! Despite this though, I think I got a bit luckier than you, and still have my original Starcraft and Brood War CDs.

Unfortunately, the Starcraft one I'm pretty sure is Mac only, so I don't think it will work for my new computer unless I go emulation crazy and try to emulate the old Mac OS 9 (I can't remember what version of Mac OS 10 it stopped working in, one of the ones after they switched to primary use of intel chips rather than the G series ones from Motorola certainly, but it never ran well in OS X, and ran much better in Mac OS 9). The brood-war CD was both mac and PC though, so I wouldn't have to dig up a brood war copy if I wanted to play it PC style I suppose. Probably not worth the effort though, I'm sure fans will have maps in Starcraft II simulating the old missions and such sooner or later. I know they were working on some, if they haven't finished it already.

This option is not available with Window mode. • Enabling ResolutionHack is mainly intended for watching replays, the use of this hack for gameplay purposes is prohibited. Using extremely high resolutions may cause crashes.

• UPnP (port forwarding) ONLY works if UPnP is enabled on your router, if you do not have access to your router settings, most likely UPnP is disabled. • 'some files are missing!!!' : Make sure you've extracted all the files from the archive first. Your antivirus may be automatically deleting some files, create an exception for your mca64Launcher folder to prevent this. However, it would be a good idea to make pgp signatures for the files. I know it's extremely unlikely but a compromised router could in theory perform a man-in-the middle attack to infect or serve other binaries. (SSL would pretty much shut that down, but signatures are nice anyways) As a bonus, it's also a way to verify that the download was error-free.

If your router is compromised, then you have a much bigger problem. I'll contact mca to write the CRC's of the download on his website so that you can check if the download is error free.

After 1 of the updates (forgot which one) i started getting this error. It basically happened overnight edit: and ive been lagging w/ the new versions on iccup Have you manually created any port forwarding/triggering rules in your router for StarCraft?

Or added exceptions for StarCraft in Windows Firewall? I tried to manually port forward a week ago but that didnt do anything because i have a router and a modem and they both have different IP's (i didnt want to DMZ my connection, in any case fish was working fine back then, i just wanted to see if i could host games).

I removed the port forwarding rules right after. Edit: this guy also had the exact same problem. #9 Hi all, I've had the same problem with Fish server as some of u mentioned before, and here I come with a solution (inspired by Mca64 himself). We were checking for possible solutions here and there, but the fault turned out to be on the side of Fish server. What do you need to do to play again at Fish? - run allscservers.reg file so u get all the gateways, - try getting into Fish server, 1st attempt will fail, - Fish server will automatically upload u 3 additional gateways and also remove iCCup server from your list, try logging into Fish from the standard Fish gateway again (this time that the gateway is slightly different, so u will succeed), - enjoy playing with Koreans.

Or u have another option, wait couple of hours (days?) and let Mca64 update his launcher by adding the mirror gateways to Fish. If the new version is the one that had this problem I dont know what kind of old version u are using, but I also had relatively old version (1.8.9 or so) and it didn't work for me.

Only specific connection types had this kind of problem. New version is available on mca64.com with different gateways added that fixes the problem. I have windows 8, changed my region to Korea and have korean keyboard, still doesn't work. I can see the Nat numbers in lobby still but have no other wdetector functionality. If you see NAT in lobby then all is ok. I guess you are used with original wLauncher settings. You can have it by replacing wDetector.ini in main launcher folder witt this file (original ini from wLauncher) but there will be much more spam.

Settings for mca64Launcher was made by rich (if im not mistaken) many months ago and works nice. Mca64Launcher uses CTRL keys shortcut for wDetector (FuncKey are probally disabled) egxample hotkeys: Ctrl + O - crash Oblivion users, Ctrl + D - show/hide drop window, Ctrl + L - On/Off auto refresh, Ctrl + T - Show/hide time.
